Maneki-Neko 招き猫
Maneki-Neko, Lucky Cat is a well known lucky charm in Japanese and asian culture. It is believed to bring good luck to the owner, often seen at the front of stores and other business. "Maneku" is a gesture of beckoning or to bring something/someone in.
Tanuki たぬき
Tanuki is a Japanese racoon which symblized of good fortune for buisness. He carries a coin bag and a money book in his hands. Also, "TA.NU.KI" is rhyme to "go ahead of other" in Japanese, and it often displayed at the front of stores and houses.
Daruma 達磨
Daruma is a Japanese traditional fortune doll which modeled after Bodhidharma, a Buddhist monk. It have a round shape, are hollow and weighted at the bottom so that they will always return to an upright position when tilted over. In Japanese, a roly-poly toy is called okiagari-koboshi, meaning to get up (oki) and arise (agari). This characteristic has come to symbolize the ability to have success, overcome adversity, and recover from misfortune. Daruma is often illustrated alongside the phrase "Nanakorobi Yaoki 七転び八起き", translated to mean "seven times down, eight times up".
